I found it surprising (in a good way) to find out that Ontario was testing out Universal Basic Income among the community. This is something that could be really beneficial for citizens. A few benefits of this program I see are:
- Less pressure for people to work jobs that they aren't happy with, more time to find things that one enjoys and pursue them
- All the bureaucracies that work to help people with their financial debt would have a much lower number of people to undertake if not none
- If UBC was introduced to teenagers as well in some kind of way, maybe as a smaller amount, then that would teach children how to manage their money earlier in life
